Podcast Interview

Punk CX

This is an interview that I gave on a podcast that focuses on customer experience (CX) topics. The host, Adrian Swinscoe, is a CX advisor, speaker, and  the best-selling author of Punk CX--the podcast's namesake. Episode #400 "What do immersive VR, empathetic interactions and stand out customer service have in common? - Interview with Monika Jo of Mursion" Listen to the episode here.

Ebooks

I produced quarterly ebooks that explored topics that mattered to the company's customers. The aim was to find an effective way to tell the story using data and research. Ebooks were a whole-funnel device that generated brand awareness and also served as an effective content marketing program to help generate leads for new business and sales pipeline development.

Events

I designed and hosted a weekly Roundtable series tackling the most pressing issues in the future of work and education. I built the event programs for lead generation, community building, and thought leadership.

Awards

I oversaw the award submission program as part of my public relations portfolio. Mursion was recognized by Brandon Hall with 20 medals, by  Inc. Magazine Best in Business; and Financial Times Fastest Growing Companies in the Americas. My favorite was the Fast Company World Changing Ideas featuring a client project with the University of Wyoming, Graduate School of Education.

Social Media

In modern digital marketing, maintaining a social media presence is a must. Content marketing extends into the realm of social media and is an important lever for driving traffic to events, landing pages, and blogs. With so much noise in this arena of marketing, it's important to determine which channel should be a priority. For example, Twitter is a priority for reaching the education audience; whereas, LinkedIn is not as important.

As a founding advisor to Umber Magazine, which is a platform for highlighting Black and Brown creators, I wrote articles and advised on strategy and execution of promotional campaigns.
